Information on Andalucía and the Canary Islands
On our tour of Spain, we will visit the Autonomous communities of Andalucía and the Canary Islands. Both Communities are unique and have several interesting sights to visit. The price of the six day five night trip is 800 Euros per person. The price includes the flight to the Canaries from Madrid and back. It also includes the five nights in a two bed hotel room (if traveling alone, you will be assigned a roommate) and the tour bus we will be using throughout Andalusia. Food will not be provided but recommendations on where to eat will be supplied. Eating times are already set and travelers will have to choose somewhere to eat and eat within the time allotted. 18 years old and older are welcome to partake in this fantastic adventure to southern Spain!
Our first few days will be spent in Andalucía. In Andalucía, you will definitely see the impact the Muslim people have had on Spain. Throughout Andalusia, the last stronghold of the moors, you can see remnants of mosques, and their way of life. In Seville we will see the Seville cathedral and its Moorish tower, the tower of Geralda. We will also see the Alcazar, one of the King’s beautiful summer retreats built by Muslim architects and designers. After Seville, we will head to Cordoba to visit the world famous Mezquita, an old mosque. Then we will go to Granada and enjoy the Alhambra.
After our tour of Andalucía we will head to the ever sunny Canary Islands, here we will be able to enjoy the beach and sights of Grand Canary and Tenerife. We invite you to join us on this incredible journey through beautiful southern Spain and the exotic islands in Canaria!
